Emanuela Celano and Angelo Nicosia are the winners of the 2021 edition of FameLab Catania, the science talent show. After last Friday's selections, this morning the eight aspiring science communicators challenged each other on the “stage” of "Città della Scienza" in the final of the Etna stage. Emanuela Celano, student of the degree course in Physics of the University of Catania, with the talk “A laser from brrrrrr… ivido ", and Angelo Nicosia, PhD in Materials Science and Nanotechnology from the University of Catania, with" Journey into human curiosity, between psychotropic antigravity frogs and Nobel pencils ".
Today's guest Roberto Ragazzoni, academic of the Lincei, director of the Astronomical Observatory of Padua and professor at the University of Padua who, in streaming, spoke about science to the general public with the talk entitled "Machines to explore alien worlds" .
