The pre-selections of the FameLab Catania took place today. 8 competitors will compete in Wednesday's final.

The jury composed by Fiorella Burgio of INFN - Catania Section, by Christian Mulder (Ecology, Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences)
and Teresa Graziano (researcher of economic-political geography, Di3A) has selected the 8 finalists who will compete for the passage to the final on Wednesday 28 April.
Competing for the national final scheduled in June, for the first time in Catania, will be Giuseppe Leanza, Lidia Mezzina, Giuseppe Piparo, Emanuela Celano, Enrico Martello, Angelo Nicosia, Ilaria Cosentini and Gisella Di Mari. Appointment on day 28 to find out who will be the two representatives of Catania at the national final.

FameLab Catania is organized for the fifth edition by the University of Catania in collaboration with  INAF - Osservatorio Astrofisico di Catania, INFN - Laboratori Nazionali del Sud, INFN - Sezione di Catania, l’Istituto per la Microelettronica e i Microsistemi del CNR, Piano Lauree Scientifiche, CSFNSM - Centro Siciliano di Fisica Nucleare e Struttura della Materia, Scuola Superiore di Catania, EPS Young Minds Catania, Accademia Italiana per la Promozione della Matematica.
