On Monday October 3, CSFNSM organise a meeting in the framework of the program "In the summer you learn the STEM" with the students of the Comprehensive Institute "G. Verga" Gela and the FIDAPA BPW Italy on the theme "Women and STEM".

On Monday at 10:00 am, in the Aula Magna of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, a meeting-debate organized by the CSFNSM within the program sponsored by the Department for Equal Opportunities - Presidency of the Council of Ministers "In the summer you learn the STEM "

During the debate, three Catanese researchers working in different areas of Physics will tell their experience of women and scientists:
- Dr. Elena Bruno researcher in the field of Physics of Matter at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Catania
- Dr. Sara Pirrone first researcher in the Catania section of INFN active in the field of Nuclear Physics and Chairman of the Equal Opportunities Committee of the Italian Physical Society
- Prof. Alessia Tricomi Professor of Elementary Particle Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Catania and Director of the CSFNSM

to the students  of the "G. Verga" Comprehensive School of Gela.

The meeting-debate is organized in collaboration with FIDAPA BPW Italy. The debate will also intervene
