On November 25th we celebrate the International Day of the Elimination of Violence against Women.

It is estimated that 35 per cent of women worldwide have experienced either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or sexual violence by a non-partner (not including sexual harassment) at some point in their lives.  Approximately 15 million adolescent girls (aged 15 to 19) worldwide have experienced forced sex (forced sexual intercourse or other sexual acts) at some point in their life.

One of the key challenges in prevention of rape and sexual harassment is the lack of understanding around the issue of consent—only yes means yes, given freely by consenting adults, in every situation.

In order to rase awareness on rape and accelerate gender equality actions, CSFNSM has chosen to adhere to the   “Orange the World: Generation Equality Stands against Rape!” campaign through social activism for #16days.

In the #16days between November 25th and December 10th we will share on our social channels images, videos, stories to let you know more about rape agains women.
